The Shire is full of lovely places to see and visit, being a vibrant region full of folks who love their homes and the land. When not out adventuring Delphinia enjoys walking though the gardens and wild places. Today’s stroll takes place in the memorial gardens of Michel Delving as she is in town visiting friends.
Delphinia is wearing:

Legs: Threadbare Leggings of the Dunland Healer in Crimson

Delphinia hopes you enjoyed joining her on her walk through the gardens!
My offering to you for the season is a warm and cozy violet colored winter outfit. The beautiful land and night time sky of Forochel is my setting of choice. Arianya kindly agreed to be the model, as she has many times in the past.
Happy Holidays and may the New Year bring you happiness and health!
Her outfit is:
Chest – Wildemore Survivor’s Heavy Breastplate in Violet
Shoulders – Lesser Arrow of the West Shoulder Guards in Violet
Gloves – Wildemore Survivor’s Medium Gloves in Violet

Back – Cloak of the Mammutti in Violet
Weapon – Defender of Gwingris
Shield – Simbi’s Shield
WarSteed Duvainil is wearing:
Halter of Thorin’s Hall in Violet
Hunter’s Caparison in Violet
Hunter’s Leggings in Violet
I am a bit sad that the tunic, while all one piece, shows a seam between the torso and legs part in many of the shots. Perhaps some day this will be fixed, as it happens to other tunic pieces too.
One last thing (if you are still reading this far down in the post!) – there is a Yule Outfit Contest being hosted by three other cosmetic blogs. Check out this link to find out more information. May be best outfit win!
This one has been around on my guardian for a while. It appears in her introductory post a few years ago in fact, in addition to being what she usually wears. However more recent additions in terms of cosmetic weapons (i. e. Replica of Elor) and a slight change in the dye I used on the shoulders (my original choice of purple was just too *bright* to me, but the twilight purple was perfect!) made me finally call this one done and get some screenies taken 🙂
Her outfit is:
Chest – Enduring Short-sleeved Shirt of Fate in Purple
Legs – Lesser Ward of the West Leggings in Purple
Shoulders – Pauldrons of the Valleys in Twilight Purple
Hands – Gloves of the Forest Bounder in Violet
Feet – Steel Boots of the Valleys in Violet
Head – Ceremonial Hat of the Written Word in Purple
Back – Cloak of the Northern Lights in Violet
Sword – Replica of Elor
Steed Duvainil is wearing:
Thorin’s Hall Set (Caparison, Halter, Leggings – all in default Violet)
I did notice at some point between taking the screen shots and this post, the color scheme of the outfit and chosen screen shot location are similar to another fashion blogger’s – so Nath clearly had the same thought I did in regards to these colors and Eregion! And we share the love of the Replica of Elor…
Magieriel found herself in the Limlight Gorge near evening one day. It is a wild and lonely land, made dangerous in recent days by trolls and enormous spiders wandering down from the Misty Mountains. Once this land was a part of Lothlorien, but those day were long long ago. Much to her surprise though, she found ancient spirits wandering under the stars in this land – remnants of times long past.
As she rides into the the gorge, she looks over and sees in the distance a momument to friendship. While not visible, could the spirit of Amity be near?
This particular ruin filled her with reverence for the past. Perhaps the spirit of Reverence draws near as the mountains darken to purple?
Sitting upon Biblioteq on this high hill as night falls, Magieriel pulls out her lute and begins to play. While she is lost in the music, the spirit of Melody fills her soul.
A grove of trees reminds her of of the past glories of this land. Clearly the spirit of Remembrance calls this place home.
Under the stars she ponders the paths of learning she has traveled. These paths have lead her to better self-awareness, insight into the world around her, and understanding. The spirit of Enlightenment shares a moment with her.
Her outfit is:
Chest – Robe of the Hopeful Melody in Violet
Shoulders – Ceremonial Shoulders of the Lady’s Secret in Violet
Hands – Gloves of Resolve in Steel Blue
Feet – Steel Boots of the Valley in Steel Blue
Back – Cloak of the Golden Wood in Violet
WarSteed Biblioteq is equipped with:
Spooky Caparison of the Bat in Indigo
Hunter’s Halter in Indigo
Rune-Keeper’s Leggings in Indigo
The inspiration for this arrived when I first received the title Chronicler of Twilight. That however was not on Magi, so my next step was to complete the quest with her, as she seemed like she would be perfect for the role 🙂 The outfit is all my own idea, but the Steed’s gear was put together by my friend Aldermere. I can say that getting decent screenies near randomly moving spirits was quite the challenge, and was based on a LOT of luck!
Arianya of Mirkwood
Arianya was born in Greenwood the Great in the beginning of the third age, only weeks apart from Imbrium. The 2 elfesses became great friends, and as children brought great life and laughter to the forest. Arianya with her light hair became known as moon (Isilalya), while Imbrium with her dark tresses became known as shadow (Fuine). Whenever a prank was played on one of the adults, they always looked for what they called the MoonShadow pair. After the Necromancer took over Dol Guldur, the young elves lost much of their laughter. As the shadows deepened and the Greenwood became the Mirkwood, the lives of these 2 young elves parted ways. Imbrium began the intensive study of Runekeeeping at home, while Arianya traveled to her distant Sindar kin in Lindon.
Under the tutelage of Cirdan’s folks, she took up training with sword and shield. Her training was almost complete when forces from Angmar invaded Cardolan. She was sent in secret with a small company of elves and Arthedain warriors to assist, but alas they arrived too late to help the beleaguered kingdom. She bore witness to the shattering of the Tower of Amun Sul and helped guide the surviving Arthedain warriors bearing the palantir to safety. Arianya returned to Lindon where she remained until the Witch King conquered Fornost. When the Gondorian Prince arrived in the Havens, she was with the company of Elves, Men, and Hobbits who set forth for the Battle of Fornost. The army of Angmar was crushed, the Witch King fled, and yet the realm of Arnor lay in broken pieces, its people scattered to the winds.
Over the next thousand years Arinaya mostly remained in Lindon and the surrounding areas. She assisted the Rangers of the North when needed, and occasionally traveled home to Mirkwood to visit her family and dear friend Imbrium. Near the end of the Third Age she was sent with Galdor to Rivendell as part of his escort. While Galdor took part in the Council of Elrond, Arianya met with distant kin, old friends, and made some new friends. During her stay in Rivendell she learned the full implications of the growing danger from Mordor and became a part of the war effort in Middle Earth.
She rides the dusky and strong Steed Duvainil.
